Day 1

After picking you up at the hotel in the city of Huaraz (approximately 7:00 - 7:30 AM), we will head towards the city of Carhuaz, where we will make a brief stop to explore its main square and, if you wish, you can buy any forgotten food or drink. We will then continue the journey to Caraz, located 70 km north of Huaraz. From there, we will begin a gradual ascent along a gravel road, passing picturesque villages until we reach the impressive Parón Lagoon. Once at the lagoon, we will have time to walk around and admire the wild Andean flora, as well as enjoy the views of some of the most iconic mountains of the Cordillera Blanca, such as Artesonraju, Pirámide Garcilazo, and Caraz. The lagoon's turquoise waters create a stunning landscape, making it a fascinating destination. If you prefer, you can also opt for a hike of approximately 1 hour along an almost vertical, zigzag path and some sections over rocks, to reach a viewpoint from which you can appreciate the lagoon in all its grandeur. After enjoying the scenery and taking many photos, we will return via the same route to the city of Caraz and then continue the journey back to Huaraz. The tour will end around 6 PM.
