Day 1

We begin our adventure with pickup from your hotel in Huaraz. We will head in our transport towards the entrance of the Rajucolta Valley, passing through the picturesque village of Macashca. After approximately one hour of travel, we will start our hike through the valley. The trail gradually ascends, offering spectacular views as we progress. In about 3 hours, we will reach the impressive Rajucolta Lagoon, located at 4,300 meters above sea level. Its turquoise waters and the imposing backdrop of Mount Huantzan, at 6,395 meters, create an unforgettable landscape. Here you will have time to rest, enjoy the surroundings, and capture incredible photographs. We will then return via the same route to the entrance of the valley, where our transport will be waiting to take us back to Huaraz. Along the way, we will plant a small tree as a gesture of gratitude to nature for its space.
