- 05:00 – 05:30 AM: We begin our journey by vehicle through the northern Callejón de Huaylas Valley. In Yungay, we take an eastern turn and continue toward the Huascarán National Park checkpoint. After registration, we ascend in a zigzag through the Llanganuco ravine.
- Along the way, we pass near two lagoons — Chinancocha and Orconcocha — and pause briefly for photos. We then continue to Cebollapampa, the starting point of the hike to Laguna 69. Reaching Laguna 69 (4,600 m / 15,092 ft) takes approximately 3 hours. This lagoon is known for its intense blue color and sits just below the majestic Chacraraju Mountain (6,112 m / 20,052 ft). After spending a meaningful amount of time at the lagoon, we return along the same trail — about 2 hours — to Cebollapampa, where our transport will be waiting to take us back to Huaraz.
RECOMMENDATIONS: Snacks, water, regular clothing with a warm jacket, hiking shoes, lip balm, hat, sunglasses, insect repellent, and sunscreen.
At the scheduled time, you will be transferred to the bus terminal to begin your journey back to your city of origin.
